Dissent socks have been my sock of choice for a few years now. They are a MTB specific compression sock. They fit great look great and your feet never get those annoying hot spots in long events.
Italian produced Canadian designed quality.
Well... I've had this bike now just over 3 years. It was a large step up for myself from a much lower spec cheaper bike to this which was £1,800 list price. The bike itself has run great over the time with only basic maintenance and parts needed.
I would fully recommend this bike to anyone who's wanting to get a good trail bike. The one thing that lets these down is the frame bearings those will need replacing as the ones from the factory don't seem run last all that long. But other then that the spec you get for the price is almost unbeatable compared to similar models on other top brands.
I like it so much i've just ordered the new Zesty 527 hopefully that one will last me another 3 years!
This is scott's new trail line of clothing for 2015.
The shirt of really breathable and moves easily over the body and comes in a long sleeved as well. The fit is nice too with enough room to move but not too baggy.
The shorts are the trail 20 and scott have a range to choose from some are baggier and heavier material. These ones are the trail20 and feel light and have a couple of pockets in good places. I'll be using them in the gym in the winter as well.
Shot taken after the 6hr hr salty dog enduro in salmon arm, Put on by skookum cycle and ski in Salmon arm. 2nd place this time around. great day 112km of trail's. I'll be back for another go next year.
I always have people ask about my poggies(handcovers) I went out and tested several styles but in the end I had a vision of the features I wanted and the type of temps true rating I wanted to cover so I drew up plans made a paper mock up and picked out the materials. Reflective piping, and extra loft filling make these safe and warm without gloves between -20 f. And 20 f. Any warmer out and they are too warm.
